Quick answer
TradingView webhooks use a tunnel URL that can change when you restart the app.
- Open Accounts
- Find your TradingView account
- Copy the new webhook URL
- In TradingView, update your alerts to the new URL
Symptoms
- TradingView alerts stopped arriving after restarting the app
- You see a banner saying the webhook URL changed
- TradingView “Webhook URL” is correct format, but nothing happens in Logs
Most common causes
- The app restarted and the tunnel URL regenerated
- You refreshed the tunnel URL in the app, but didn’t update TradingView alerts
Fix steps
1) Get the current webhook URL from the app
- Open Accounts
- Select the TradingView account
- Copy the webhook URL shown by the app
2) Update TradingView alerts
In TradingView:
- Open the alert you want to use
- Ensure Webhook URL is enabled
- Paste the new URL
- Save the alert
3) Repeat for every alert
Each alert stores its own webhook URL. Update every alert that should send signals.
Verify it worked
- Trigger an alert in TradingView
- Open Logs in the app
- Confirm you see an entry indicating a webhook was received and processed
If it still doesn’t work (Escalate)
- Check the tunnel status (see: “TradingView: tunnel not running / alerts not received”)
- Open Copy Not Working? → run quick scan
- Open a support ticket and include: - Screenshot of the alert settings showing the webhook URL - The time you triggered the alert (timezone) - The relevant Logs entries (export if requested)
