Symptom: Stops not copying

Symptoms

  • Trades open on the receiver, but SL (stop loss) does not appear or update
  • Logs show modify failures or "invalid stops"

  • Modify events are blocked by filters/news settings
  • SL is invalid for the receiver (too close / wrong side / stop level rules)
  • Broker rejects modifications during volatility

Fix steps

  1. Open Logs and find the specific modify failure
  2. Check connection settings: - Ensure modify events are not blocked by filters
  3. Verify SL validity: - BUY: SL below price - SELL: SL above price - SL far enough away from current price

Verify it worked

  1. Place a tiny trade with SL on the master
  2. Confirm the receiver shows SL and Logs show no stop errors
