What this is
If you use Telegram as a receiver, the app can send you Telegram messages when trade events happen (open/close/modify/partial close).
This article explains how to configure Telegram Receiver Message Configuration.
Step-by-step
- Open Accounts
- Select your Telegram receiver
- Open Receiver Message Configuration
- Configure: - Message templates (what the Telegram message looks like) - Event types (which events trigger a message)
- Click Save Configuration
Event types (what triggers a message)
- Position opened
- Position closed
- Position modified (SL/TP changes)
- Position partially closed
Tip: enable only what you actually want to receive to reduce noise.
Template variables
You can use variables like:
{{side}}(BUY/SELL){{symbol}}{{entry}}{{sl}}{{tp}}{{quantity}}{{price}}(used for close/partial close){{ticket}}
Common problems
- Nothing is sent: make sure at least one event type is enabled, and you saved successfully.
- Messages are missing fields: check your template includes the variables you want.
- Too many messages: disable event types you don’t need (e.g., modified).
